Vera Flux — The Kinetic Anomaly

Vera Flux is not a hero who arrives with speeches or warnings. She appears when the rules of reality begin to fail.

During the events recorded in Episode 1, a spatial fracture tears through the city without explosion or debris. Sound collapses, streets bend inward, and distances begin contradicting themselves as the environment folds under impossible geometry. Instruments at the Faraday Institute report coordinates slipping and time losing its alignment as the anomaly spreads across the urban grid.

Then the distortion stops expanding.

Vera Flux steps through the fracture line as if space itself had decided to correct an error. Rings of kinetic energy form around her movements, mapping the rupture and anchoring it before the collapse can spread through the city. Rather than destroying the anomaly, she stabilizes it—forcing the tear into a controlled state long enough for reality to reassert its structure.

Little is known about Vera’s origin or how she gained the ability to manipulate kinetic forces at such scale. What witnesses remember most is not the power she displays, but the precision. Every motion appears calculated, every movement aligned with forces that most people cannot even perceive.
