Kai “Circuit” Vane is a deep systems specialist who works below the surface of protected networks. Corporate architecture, encrypted databases, neural systems, infrastructure controls, and serious data extraction are where he is strongest. He is patient enough to stay with a system long after most people would assume they already understand it.

Calm, precise, and difficult to rattle, Kai rarely wastes words or raises his voice. He notices inconsistencies quickly and has little interest in showing off. If the visible system says one thing while the architecture underneath says another, he keeps digging until the difference makes sense.

Kai came up inside the corporate technology world, working on protected neural and infrastructure systems before realizing how carefully information was compartmentalized. Eventually he crossed a boundary simply because something did not add up. What he found convinced him to leave.

He is not driven by a crusade against corporations. Kai simply refuses to belong to a system that decides what he is allowed to understand. He learned early that having access to information and truly understanding it are two different things.
