Dovar Redmane

Dovar Redmane is the dwarf cleric of the First Party, a sturdy battlefield healer whose faith is as practical as his warhammer. Red-bearded, armored, and usually grumbling about something, Dovar is the one his companions trust when poison spreads, curses take hold, or a wound needs closing before the next monster reaches them.

Dovar’s magic is not delicate or distant. He works in the middle of danger, forcing life back into tired bodies, breaking fear, lifting paralysis, and keeping the party moving when exhaustion should have ended the fight. If Brakka holds the front, Dovar makes sure the front is still breathing.

He can be blunt, impatient, and deeply unimpressed by nonsense, but his rough edges hide a steady compassion. Dovar has seen what abandoned villages, failed roads, and old war-magic leave behind, and he knows healing is not only for heroes with clean armor.

Among the First Party, Dovar is the voice that complains the loudest and shows up the fastest.

When he says someone is not dying today, he means it.
