Royal Quest Directive
A royal order granting the First Party authority to enter the Underbreach, investigate the disturbance below, and act in defense of the realm.
The Royal Quest Directive marks the First Party’s first formal recognition by the crown. Issued before their descent into the Underbreach, the directive grants Elara Dawncrest, Brakka, Odo Madsong, Elanor Aravel, Dovar Redmane, and Lucian Gale royal leave to investigate the threat beneath the old foundations.
Though written as an official order, the document later became more than a mission notice. It stood as the first archived proof that the party had been assembled, authorized, and sent into danger together.
For later historians, the directive is often treated as the beginning of the First Party’s recorded legend.
