The laptop terminal presented to the five survivors of The Last Player, forcing each to accept a new identity or return to their former life.

The Final Choice Terminal appeared only after the surviving contestants had completed all eight games and were separated into private rooms. By then, the competition itself was over. Each survivor had been given time to wash, change into clean clothing, and treat the last of their injuries before sitting alone in front of an ordinary laptop and mouse on a plain desk. The simple setup was deliberately stark, with none of the alarms, countdowns, moving platforms, or mechanical threats that had defined the previous eleven days.
The laptop displayed two options. ACCEPT offered a new identity, secure housing, financial support, employment placement, and the clearing of all debts and obligations. Accepting was irreversible. The survivor’s former identity and life would be permanently closed, and they could never contact, visit, message, search for, or reconnect with any former friend, relative, partner, coworker, or acquaintance.
DECLINE returned the survivor to their former identity and former life without housing, financial support, debt relief, or employment placement. Declining did not restore complete freedom, however. Anyone who returned remained permanently forbidden from revealing what had happened during The Last Player.
Its ordinary appearance made the decision more unsettling. There was no dramatic announcement, no visible staff member, and no countdown forcing an immediate answer. Only a cursor, two clickable buttons, and enough silence for each survivor to understand that the final consequence would come from their own hand.
