Tama Kurogane

Tama Kurogane grew up in the industrial underbelly of Neo-Sendai, surrounded by the clanging rhythm of gears and the ozone scent of welders. While other kids played digital games, Tama rebuilt scrap drones for fun. Her natural mechanical intuition quickly earned her a reputation as a prodigy, especially after singlehandedly restoring a disabled combat mech during a blackout at age fourteen.

Now the chief technician for the Vanguard Patrol Unit, Tama’s green uniform is as much a badge of honor as it is grease-stained armor. With a socket wrench in one hand and a tactical comm in the other, she can diagnose system failures faster than most pilots can shout for help. She’s known for her sarcastic wit, no-nonsense attitude, and the signature black boots she stomps through the hangar with.

Despite her grit, Tama hides a softer core. She often repairs mechs by memory, naming each one like a friend. Behind her confident smirk is someone who understands that machines—like people—break, wear down, and need care to keep fighting.
