Haruto Aizawa

Haruto Aizawa entered the event without exceptional training, influence, or confidence. At twenty-one, he already feels trapped by a life that seems to be shrinking around him. Quiet, uncertain, and easily overlooked, he appears less prepared than many of the other contestants.

What separates Haruto is his instinct to help even when doing so puts him at greater risk. During the first game, he carries the injured Yui rather than leave her behind, revealing a compassion that may become either his greatest strength or his most dangerous weakness. He feels fear as intensely as anyone else, but continues moving when others depend on him.

Haruto does not see himself as a leader. He hesitates, questions his decisions, and often relies on Mio’s sharper judgment. Yet each game forces him to act before he feels ready. As alliances form and the competition becomes more ruthless, Haruto must decide whether preserving his humanity will help him survive—or make him easier to break.
