Dr. Renji Amakawa

Dr. Renji Amakawa is a cybernetic engineer known for repairing bodies, machines, and mistakes no one else will touch. He works at the edge of accepted science, where damaged soldiers, failing androids, illegal implants, and broken life-support systems all end up when official channels run out of answers.

Renji’s own body reflects his work. His primary cybernetic left arm gives him the strength needed for heavy repairs, while a smaller integrated utility limb allows him to perform delicate diagnostics, adjust micro-components, and work with systems no ordinary hand could manage.

He does not see cybernetics as simple upgrades. To Renji, every artificial limb, neural bridge, or mechanical organ carries a story about what someone survived. His job is not only to make the technology function, but to make sure the person still feels like themselves afterward.

Quiet, precise, and difficult to impress, Renji has little patience for corporations that treat people like prototypes. He is not a battlefield hero, but many heroes are still alive because they reached his workshop in time.
