Ren’s cheap claw-machine rabbit from the night he finally begins living beyond his search for Hana.

Sato is the small stuffed rabbit Ren Akiyama wins by accident at a claw machine.
After another failed attempt to build a life with Hana Mori, Ren leaves the familiar streets, routines, and memories he has spent so long trying to control. In a narrow arcade, he meets Yuki, Daichi, and Rina—three strangers who know nothing about the impossible loop he is trapped inside. They feed him ramen, make fun of his terrible rhythm-game score, and pull him into a cheerful argument over whether a claw machine is rigged.
Ren wins the cheap, awkward rabbit on his third try. When Yuki insists that he cannot abandon it without a name, Ren calls it Sato for no reason beyond the fact that it “looks like a Sato.” The absurd answer makes all four of them laugh.
The rabbit matters because it belongs to no plan. Ren does not win it for Hana, record it in a notebook, or use it to recreate a moment from another life. It comes from one uncomplicated night in which he lets himself be surprised by people and places he never expected to find. Sato is a small reminder that a life can still hold something good when Ren stops trying to force it to become the life he remembers.
