The Haruki Maru Mission Orders were issued before the events of Adrift Beyond the Stars, when the voyage was still understood as a supervised academy training exercise.
The document lists the seven cadets assigned to the Haruki Maru: Haru Minase as Captain Cadet, Riku Aozora as Pilot Cadet, Mei Tachibana as Engineering Cadet, Sora Kanzaki as Navigation Cadet, Hana Mizuno as Medical Cadet, Daigo Arakawa as Security Cadet, and Yui Hoshino as Comms/Systems Cadet.
At the time, the assignment was ordinary. The crew was expected to follow the academy route, perform routine navigation and systems checks, maintain discipline, and return safely upon completion. Nothing in the orders suggests danger, mystery, or the long displacement that would follow.
